We start from Moni village to a long bridge called “Kali Wajo” before Lekebai village, turn left to the small road towards the village of Feondari by car.

Left the car at one of local resident’s houses for safety, all of locals are friendly welcoming us, especially young child enjoy following us everywhere.

Starting walk from Feondari to Poma Village on two-hours hiking then continue hiking and down following the winding path and jump to the rocky river.

One-hour down the river while established ours body balance to jump from one great stone to the next as far as to reach Murusobe.

Probably they have some path-way to get Murusobe but we was enjoy following the kids from Poma village.

Challenge adventure Flores tours was excellent, people, scenery mountainous, sea and any beautiful tiny island in Komodo Park.

“We had decided our journey from Bali to Flores and visit Komodo park – back to Bali” a Spanish lady say. “But the decision was changed after Komodo Park, we are on the right island to more explore” Alfons and Andy from German said.

Our meeting in Moni village just a coincidence then discussed how to get  the twin waterfalls, they are real Europe backpackers armed a small guide book bout adventure Flores tours from the tourism association.

All the locals who living inside the Komodo Park rely on fishing for their main source of income.

Outside of Komodo Marine Park zone is area for fishing and some fisherman used nets on specially boat designed called “Bagan”  with aid of bright lanterns at night to attract any kind of fish.

Bagan boat also good for fishing it’s easy because they will get more fish for once catch.

Fisherman carrying fish from their village then sell them from door to door or throw them at Labuan Bajo fish market.

A part of Flores tours is sharing each other about locals naturally and the way of life.

Friendly locals on Flores Island will make you be fond memories, they invite tourist who want to walk visiting them field.

One of the presented is the young fresh coconuts from a tree then  presented to the tourist.

The locals of  Flores Island feel happy and proud to the tourist who already  visitation them and try the  young coconut.

Mbeliling is a forest and bird conservation area, the highest point of Mount Mbeliling is 1.200 meters above sea level, located in west Flores Island – Indonesia near Labuan Bajo.

The area of Mbeliling covers 5.000 Hectare, valley, hills that covered forest and mountain peak provide beautiful landscape overlooking to west Flores Island.

Living some kinds of birds species, according to Birdlife Indonesia Association there are 127 kinds of birds species living around Mbeliling and Puar Lolo forest, dominated by three Flores endemic birds and also endangered birds are: Kehicap Flores (Monarcha Sacerdotum), Serindit Flores (Loriculus Flosculus), and Gagak Flores (Corvus Florensis).

These lake is biggest volcanic crater in the east Indonesia, provide savana peak overlooking of lake, three hot spring water with 37 degrees celcius and 100 degrees celcius.

Special for bird watching, a good time are in the morning (06.00am – 10.00am) and in the afternoon (15.00pm – 18.00pm)
