Lewotobi, twin volcanoes in Flores Island – Indonesia

Located in the east Flores Island Indonesia, local people call it Lewotobi men (Lewotobi laki-laki) 1584 meter and Lewotobi women (Lewotobi perempuan) 1,703 meters, last eruption in 2003.
The last eruption Lewotobi issuing material bursts 200 meters high and seismic activity continued until July 2003 and the eruption was very affecting to locals activity.
The easiest way to reach there: Take a fly from Bali to Maumere and took the land route from Maumere to Boru village, Boru is a nearest village to climbing and need 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours to reach the Boru from Maumere or Larantuka the town on eastern part of Flores Island.
